FIRST 5 Santa Clara County

Our new name, FIRST 5 Santa Clara County, is symbolic of the organization's dedication to children prenatal through age 5 and their families. While our name has changed, the organization's focus remains the same, developing and implementing initiatives to improve the lives of children.

As a learning organization, the Commission's staff is valued for their skills, talents, knowledge,

flexibility, creativity, and the commitment they bring to our organization. Our mission is to enable people and systems to work together and create a difference for children and families who live in our communities. This principle is reflected in the services we provide and in the approaches we use to address the needs of the residents of Santa Clara County. We strive to enrich the quality of life for every child and family we encounter.
